ZeroOdor Molecular Odor Eliminator - 16 oz. Review
After literally years of trying other products to eliminate odors, I finally gave this one a shot. I am kicking myself for not trying this product first because this is the one and only one that works. I have 2 very large 90+ lb dogs, and while they are well trained, when they do have an accident, it is a catastrophic disaster. The summer heat and humidity has always found a way to unlock the potent urine odors and disperse it in the humid air, causing an unbearable scent and atmosphere. I used this product on a spot that I have been completely unable to rid the odor of, and after saturating the spot, letting it sit with a laundry basket over it, and waiting a few hours, the odor is 100% COMPLETELY GONE. Even on a hot humid day, I cannot smell ANYTHING, even with my nose up to the carpet. I love that the product makes the odor smell like nothing, as opposed to a mix of urine and a fake floral smell. THIS is the one that has literally destroyed odors completely, quickly, and easily.
I have found the very best way to use this product for pet urine on carpet is as follows:
While the urine is fresh, use a good carpet cleaner/extractor and use room temperature water to extract as much urine as possible. Do not use any detergent...just water. Work the spot for about 5 minutes, working back and forth very slowly with the extractor.
While the spot is still wet from the extractor, saturate the spot with ZeroOdor. Cover the spot with a laundry basket to prevent traffic from hitting the spot.
Wait several hours until the spot is completely dry. Saturate the spot again with ZeroOdor and again cover the spot with a laundry basket.
After allowing a few hours for the spot to dry, check for odors. You should not smell ANYTHING at all. If there is still some odor left, repeat the application and wait a few more hours to dry.
Follow this and you will completely get rid of disgusting pet urine odor for good.
The product also works great as a general air freshener to clear out any musty puppy smell or even smells from cooking and every day life. To freshen up my house, I spray this throughout all the rooms, and run my central AC for about 30 minutes. Do this, and you'll have clean, odorless air through out your house at all times, no matter what your pets, kids, and the rest of your life throw at you. It is pricey, but worth every single cent and then some.

The problem with most room sprays is the fact that they add a heavy perfume smell to an already offensive odor. I tried Zero Odor and it immediately removed the odors from the room. I left the house and came back in and could smell nothing.
When you first spray it, there is a light menthol smell (called the tracer) so you can tell where you sprayed. Within 30 seconds it's gone and so is the smell.

My neighbor gave me a bottle of this to try. She said she would hold her opinion until I used it.
Well, this morning about 5:50 am I awoke to a terrible dog fecal problem in my bedroom. My large mixed breed rescue had presented me with diarrhea all over my carpet !!! It was a mess and smelled like death warmed over.
I got out my trusty Bissell Spot Bot, filled it with special carpet cleaner for pets and let it clean up the stains left after I removed as much solid matter as I could. The pet carpet shampoo had a nice fragrance that it left in the bedroom but the rest of the house smelled of doggie poop....big time.
So I thought it a good time to try Zero Odor. I liberally sprayed in the rooms. These were rooms that had no doggie poop in them,just the lingering odor of what had happened in my bedroom. I used almost the entire spray bottle. NOTHING.....I walked outside about 15 min. later, and when I opened the front door to our home, the doggie poop odor nearly took my head off. I repeated with another Zero Odor spraying with what was left. Again went outside, back into the house, same odor issue. This product obviously does not work.
Called my neighbor to recount my experience this morning. She laughed and then apologized saying that she also thought it was totally worthless but wanted an unbiased second opinion. Thank goodness I didn't waste my hard earned money buying this product. What worked in the end was believe it or not......Glade Neutra Air freshener.....No more doggie poop odor at all.
If there was a minus star rating I would have awarded this product a minus 5 star rating.

Got home from work and entered the house...greeted by a litter box where 2 cats had competed for olympic medals for "largest pile" .....I believe the Russian Blue won GOLD and the Abysinian SILVER. My purchase of ZeroOdor was waiting to be opened. With what I was sure were to be my final breaths, I opened the box...retrieved the 4 ounce spray bottle... pointed at the trophy winning heaps and trembling fingers,gave 6 short sprays. WOW...I didn't lose consciousness after all!....as a matter of fact, the next breath was of fresh, clean, unscented air. No Smell At All! Now I sleep with it by the bed...for the little gifts I am offered in the middle of the night. Point the sprayer toward the bathroom, (which is 3 feet from my bed.) give 3 short sprays and right back to sleep. By the way...also works on those "covered wagons" your spouse presents in the middle of the night after consuming all that BBQ and beans the company fed staff for "Staff Appreciation"!!
