How to Maintain Your Ride on Lawn Mower

A ride on lawn mowers are expensive, and you have to treat it well, if you want it alive for a long time. There are a few simple things you can do to make sure that your mower keep going for a long time. Each ride on mower model is different, but all of them need the following basic maintenance work done once in a while.

Check the oil - Make sure that you regularly check the engine oil. It is good to make a habit of testing before you mow your lawn every time to start.Few things will ruin an engine faster than they run out of oil.
Oil change - you should the oil in your lawn mower every fifty hours or so to change. Many people do it before mowing for the first time starting in the spring.
Spark Plugs - Check the spark plug every year at least, especially if your ride on mower sounds different. If it is badly worn, you can replace it easily and cheaply.
Air Filter - The air filter should be changed on your ride on mowerTractor once a year, can or even earlier, when it will take many, and tearing. Air filter lightly with dust and debris, cleaning or changing it so often clog a must.
